Harry Franklin Bio

Harry Franklin is an 11 year old rock guitarist from Wollongong, south of Sydney, NSW, Australia and is known by his Instagram handle @guitarhazzy

Despite his young age, Harry has a growing social media presence where he currently shares his musical journey with 120 thousand Instagram followers. Harry has entertained millions of people across the world online with his impressive guitar skills and genuine passion for music. His versatility sees him covering complex classic rock and blues songs as well as his own original music. Harry inspires and motivates others with his honest and real performances and is a rising star on the music scene.

Harry also performs live music and has had the opportunity to jam with some notable musicians. He gained significant attention when he was invited to join Australian country music legend Keith Urban at Forbes Street music studio in Sydney for a jam. Together they played Keith’s song ” Kiss a Girl” as well as “Highway to Hell” and “Smoke on the Water”. This performance earned praise from EMI Music Australia who dubbed him “an absolute guitar lord.”

This epic meeting led to an appearance on the Today show where Harry shared his experience of meeting Keith and also got the chance to rock out with hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo.

In another noteworthy appearance, Harry was invited to perform the closing song with Canadian band, Peach Pit, at the Enmore Theatre during their Magpie 2025 world tour. Harry delivered a high energy performance along side the band with audience getting right behind him.

Harry has also enjoyed radio interviews at 96.5 Wave FM with Jade Tonta and Damien Leith and with Lindsay Mc Dougall for ABC Illawarra.

When Harry is not at school or performing he loves to write his own music. Harry released the song “ Stop Telling Me What To Do” when he was 9 years old and the more recent song “ Overdrive” when he was ten and both are available on the usual streaming platforms. Harry writes the music and lyrics, sings and plays all of the instruments on his songs. He has many more to come.
